Auditions

Springs Ensemble Theatre works with company members and guest artists from across the region. Auditions are open to everyone unless an individual notice says otherwise. Each notice includes available roles, audition requirements, rehearsal expectations, performance dates and instructions for signing up.

Current Auditions

Open audition notices will appear here as they become available.

Schedule

Audition dates, callback information, rehearsal expectations, technical rehearsals and performance dates.

Preparation

Instructions for preparing sides, monologues, songs or other material required for the audition.

What to Expect

Before Auditions

  • Read the complete audition notice before signing up.
  • Review the rehearsal and performance schedule.
  • Prepare the material requested in the notice.
  • Tell us about known scheduling conflicts.

At Auditions

  • Arrive early enough to check in and complete any required forms.
  • Auditions may include prepared material, readings from the script or both.
  • The director may ask you to read more than one role.
  • Some productions may hold a separate callback session.

Rehearsals, Performances and Compensation

Each audition notice includes the anticipated rehearsal schedule, technical rehearsal requirements, and performance dates for that production.

Please review the complete schedule before auditioning. Some conflicts can be accommodated, but availability during technical rehearsals and performances is generally required.

All roles and positions at Springs Ensemble Theatre are uncompensated and we cannot cast members of the Actor’s Equity Association.
